Rental Requests - 520
May require advanced permissions
Rental Requests are designed to replace manual equipment requests communicated to a Rental Center by email, text message, telephone, or face-to-face conversation.
Once submitted, a notification can be sent to the appropriate employee of the Rental Center, so that a Rental can be created from the Rental Request.
Reference(s): Basic Rental Operation, Rental Items.
*See form tooltips for additional information.
Rental Request Templates are groupings of Rental Items. Templates allow users to quickly add groupings of items to contracts without having to select each item individually.
Rental Request Templates can contain Products, Kit Types, a Name, Notes, and a Rent To employee.

Request Items to be Rented is used to adjust Rented Quantity prior to creating the Rental. |

7 |
Select Create Rental. |
|
8 |
Optional: Repeat steps 4 to 6 as many times as needed to create new Rentals. This allows splitting the Rental Request over several Rentals, as operational needs require. |
Example 1: Five items are confirmed to be needed today while three items can only be confirmed later. Example 2: Five items are in Service Center A and three items are in Service Center B. In both examples two Rentals can fulfill the Rental Request. |
