OVERVIEW: VimBiz Users can store Files of any format in the E-Tree form. The Files are stored in a Folder Tree directory with similar structure and functionalities as most standard directory trees.
This section guides the Users to manage the Files the E-Tree form.
ADD: Click on the Insert File button, or right-click and select Insert File.
EDIT: Right-click on the desired file and select Replace File.
DELETE: Right-click on a record and select Delete from the context menu.
Add / Delete / Find / View Documents or Files.
- Open the E-Tree form.
- Search for the Files or Documents using the Folders panel, or enter key word or parts of words in the Search panel to find the target files.
- To View: Double clicking on a File in the Document Store panel will open the File using its pre-selected application.
- Right click on the Files to open the Context Menu options.
Context Menu
- Insert File: Opens the Insert File Window to find and insert additional Files in the selected Folder.
- View EDocument Links: Opens a quick snapshot giving details on the E-Document and where in VimBiz the E-Document is referred to.
- Save As: Allows the user to save a copy of the file under another file name while leaving the original file intact.
- Refresh: Refreshes the grid
- Delete: Deletes the File in the VimBiz database.
The User can also drag Files from their Desktop or their File Explorer application and drop them on the Document Store panel.
Folders
Context Menu
New: Option to insert a new folder
Download: Offers a direct access to save the folder (and its contents) on the user's computer
Delete: Delete the folder and its contents
Edit: Rename the folder
Document Store
List of documents saved in each folder and related subfolder
Image: Image related to the File Extension of the inserted document
File Types are administered in the Manage File Extensions form.
Folder: Location of the document, as filed under the Folders panel.
File Name: Name of the file
KBytes: Size of the file
Document Type: Type of document
Document Types are administered in the Document Types form.
Date Modified: Date and Time when the document was last changed.
Each column item is also listed in the bottom panel of this form when a document is selected.
Context Menu
View Specific EDocument Links: Will open the EDocument Links form
Save As: Will save a copy of the document on the user's computer
View All EDocument Links: Will open the All EDocument Links form
Time Frame
Users can optionally search for documents that have been added within a set timeframe (in hours)
Enter the hourly value, and click the Search button.
Insert File
Opens the Insert File Window to find and insert additional Files in the selected Folder.

Add / Delete / Find / View Images
- Open the Images form.
- Search for the Images using the Folders panel, or enter key word or parts of words in the Search panel to find the target images.
- To View: Click on an Image found under the Images tab or double-click on an Image which will open the Image using its pre-selected application.
- Right click on the Image to open the Context Menu options.

- Edit Image Details: All fields that can be edited will be displayed in the Image Details form.
- Save Thumbnail Image (80X), Save Preview Image (1024X), Save HD Image (1920X) and Save Full Resolution Image are self-explanatory options.
- Delete: Deletes the Image in the VimBiz database.
The User can also drag supported Image types from their Desktop or their File Explorer application and drop them on the Images panel.

Image Details
The File Size and Resolution fields are automatically populated when the image in uploaded.
To populate the remaining sections, right-click on the image under the Images tab and select Edit Image Details in the context menu.
This action will open the Image Details form

New Document Type
Click this button to create a Document Type
Details
Document Type: Enter a name that represents the type of document.
Icon: Double-click on the grey square to add an image from your computer files.
Block: Check this box to block File Extensions linked to the Document Type cannot be added to E-Documents.
Document Types are linked to File Extensions in the File Extensions form.
ADD: Click on the New File Extension button, or right-click and select New File Extension from the context menu.
EDIT: Double-click on a File Extension, or right-click and select Edit File Extension from the context menu.
DELETE: Right-click on a record and select Delete from the context menu.
Name
Name of the File Extension.
This detail is set in the File Extension Details form.
Document Type
Name of the Document Type
This detail is set in the File Extension Details form.
Document Types are administered in the Document Types form.
New File Extension
Click on this button to create a File Extension.
Details
File Extension: Enter the name of the file extension, as it appears at the end of related files.
Document Type: Click on the arrow to select a document type from the drop-down list.
Document Types are administered in the Document Types form.
Click on the button to view the details of the selected record.
Click on the button to find another Document Type.
