VimBiz Installation Types

Client Desktop Installation: Generally used to evaluate VimBiz, or test a new version, prior to deployment in a production environment.

Windows Mobile Installation: Designed for the VimBiz Mobile Solution. This installation requires specific hardware.

Multi-User Client Service Installation: VimBiz is installed on a server and connected to client machines via a network. The SQL database can reside on the VimBiz server or the VimBiz server can connect to an existing SQL server. When updates are performed on the VimBiz server, client machines are automatically updated when they connect to the server.

VimBiz Web Installation: IIS is configured on the VimBiz server to allow for web access to the VimBiz database.
