Our dynamic Product Success team is based out of our Dieppe office. We develop innovative information management software for business and logistics workflows for the media industry in multiple languages and on multiple continents.

  • Our customers
    Vimsoft customers are National TV Networks, Specialty Networks, Mobile Production, and Media Conglomerates in ten countries and in multiple languages. They broadcast a variety of programs, such as national and local news, sports events, talk shows, music programs, movies, other entertainment, and advertisements. Our software manages much of the human resources and equipment logistics planning for these organizations. We evolve based on an iterative and incremental process. We are agile. As part of a fast-paced industry with great attention to detail, our customers use our software to help them be more efficient and to guide them in their day-to-day tasks.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Show customers what is possible with our software in a consultative way.
  • Learn the detailed functionalities, configurations, and operation of our large ERP system software.

  • Determine and deliver customer training and support.
  • Gather all pertinent documentation to communicate customer requirements and timelines to meet customer needs.
  • Provide responsive customer service using our proven frameworks.
  • Lead demos for new and existing customers.
  • Help with regression testing and QA testing.
  • Help customers integrate VimBiz with their external systems (e.g., Finance).
  • Gather and share customer feedback with the team.

  • Bonus Qualifications:
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite; Word, Excel, etc.

    Technical Writer

    Summary:
    The Technical Writer is responsible for creating and managing easy-to-understand user configuration manuals and training documentation in order to increase software usability and knowledge.

    Primary Duties:
  • Update current technical content based on the evolution of the solution
  • Create new technical documentation that meets international standards
  • Understand the detailed requirements of product documentation
  • Create user-friendly content that meets the needs of clients
  • Continue to acquire a deep understanding of the software product
  • Translate complex product information into simple and interactive HTML content
  • Collaborate with the technical team to edit existing content and create new rich HTML content

  • Minimum Qualifications:
  • Excellent technical witting skills in English

    Primary Duties:
  • Execute predefined test cases.
  • Create new test cases based on existing business cases.
  • Analyze software workflows and functionalities and suggest operational improvements.
  • Work closely with Developers and Project Managers to report issues and explain test results.
  • Apply testing principles and techniques to verify or recreate user workflows during development.
  • Implement & improve QA standards, processes, and procedures, to increase QA efficiency & effectiveness.
  • Complete special projects and other duties, as assigned.

  • Minimum Qualifications:
  • Post-secondary education in Computer Science/IT or Business Administration, or equivalent job experience.

    Primary Responsibilities:
  • Develop and enhance VimBiz, Vimsoft’s flagship product, which is a suite of Rich, Web and Mobile applications developed using Microsoft .NET and Microsoft SQL Server technologies.
  • Work with a team to develop and create simple processes to resolve complex business requirements and to create automation tools to further reduce the user’s workload.
  • Create complex functions, stored procedures, triggers, and scripts to support application development.
  • Develop techniques to increase performance information processing and accelerate complex queries.

  • Minimum Qualifications:
  • Post-secondary education in Computer Science/IT, or equivalent job experience.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as Software Developer.
