The Role
As a UI/UX Designer, you'll help strengthen VimBiz by making expert recommendations and implementing designs to enhance the product. The UI/UX Product Designer is the champion of the VimBiz user experience. With a go-getter attitude and an outstanding ability to think outside the box, they excel at diving deep into complex workflows to understand how users interact with the tool. Closely collaborating with the product team, they ensure all new enhancements meet exceptional user experience standards. They provide low and high fidelity representations of them to help the product team and customers align on requirements. The UI/UX Product Designer is also responsible for defining standards for UI and UX in VimBiz, and working actively to bring existing and new development up to par.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the product team and customers to deeply understand user experience challenges, identifying innovative, low-cost solutions that minimize feature rework.
- Define and implement the future look and feel of VimBiz, ensuring consistency and alignment with user needs and company goals.
- Prioritize design initiatives based on their potential impact on user experience and available development resources, working closely with release managers to balance timelines and scope.
- Leverage technical expertise to understand the VimDev framework, taking ownership of form polish and enhancements where feasible.
- Partner with the product team to map out user journeys and establish a clear vision for future product enhancements, modules, or innovative features.
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and detailed UI designs to communicate ideas effectively and gather early feedback from stakeholders.
- Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to iterate on designs, ensuring they address real-world challenges and deliver exceptional user experiences.
- Stay updated on the latest design trends and best practices to continuously elevate the product’s user experience.
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in UI/UX Design, or equivalent.
- 3+ years experience as a UI/UX Designer, Product Designer, or in a similar role, in Enterprise SaaS and/or ERP applications.
- Strong proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Familiarity with front-end development concepts (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with a user-centered approach to design.
- Ability to communicate design ideas clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Passion for creating intuitive, accessible, and aesthetically pleasing user interfaces.
Nice to Haves:
- Experience with the media and broadcasting industry.
- Bilingual (English, French).

The Role
As an Office Administrator, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of Vimsoft’s day-to-day activities. Acting as the backbone of our office, you will support our team by managing administrative tasks, coordinating office activities, and maintaining an organized and efficient work environment. With a proactive approach and strong communication skills, you’ll excel at handling multiple responsibilities while fostering a positive and productive office atmosphere.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee general office operations, ensuring the workplace is organized, efficient, and well-stocked.
- Assist in planning and coordinating company events, meetings, and appointments.
- Handle basic accounting tasks, including invoice processing and expense tracking.
- Maintain and update office records, systems, and databases.
- Provide administrative support to leadership and other team members as required.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure seamless office operations.
- Support with onboarding new employees and organizing training sessions.
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in administration, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with a keen eye for detail.

Our customers
Vimsoft customers are National TV Networks, Specialty Networks, Mobile Production, and Media Conglomerates in ten countries and in multiple languages. They broadcast a variety of programs, such as national and local news, sports events, talk shows, music programs, movies, other entertainment, and advertisements. Our software manages much of the human resources and equipment logistics planning for these organizations. We evolve based on an iterative and incremental process. We are agile.
Summary:
The Software Developer is responsible for assisting with development projects, continuing existing development efforts, and maintaining high standards of development methodologies and processes, while ensuring excellent product quality and services.
Primary Responsibilities:
Develop and enhance VimBiz, Vimsoft’s flagship product, which is a suite of Rich, Web and Mobile applications developed using Microsoft .NET and Microsoft SQL Server technologies.
Work with a team to develop and create simple processes to resolve complex business requirements and to create automation tools to further reduce the user’s workload.
Create complex functions, stored procedures, triggers, and scripts to support application development.
Develop techniques to increase performance information processing and accelerate complex queries.
Minimum Qualifications:
Post-secondary education in Computer Science/IT, or equivalent job experience.
Minimum 3 years’ experience as Software Developer.
Good knowledge of relational databases and database programming languages (T-SQL).
Bonus Qualifications:
Programming experience using Microsoft Visual Studio .NET.
Experience developing, deploying, or managing applications on Microsoft Azure or other Cloud platforms.
Skills and experience with technologies such as SOAP APIs, REST APIs, React, Xamarin, MAUI.
Understanding of business workflows and processes in the media and broadcasting industry.
Experience working in enterprise software development and client implementation.
Knowledge of Crystal Reports and/or Microsoft Reporting Services.
Experience with system integration and interfacing with other applications.
Multilingual (English, French, Spanish, etc.).
