Pallets
Forms
ADD: Click on the New Arrival button, where a New Lot can be created with containing New Pallets.
EDIT: Double-click on an entry to see the Pallets.
DELETE: Right-click on an entry and select Delete from the context menu.
Location Tree
In VimBiz, locations are organized by Regions, Buildings, Areas, Rooms, Rack, Shelves and Bins.
Click on a location to populate the list of pallets that are stored there.
The location hierarchy of Regions, Buildings, Areas and Rooms is administered in the Manage Rooms form.
Rack, Shelf and Bin locations are administered in the Manage Warehouse form.
ADD: Right-click on a location to add sublocations.
- Right-click on a Room and select Add Rack from the context menu.
- Right-click on a Rack and select Add Shelf from the context menu.
- Right-click on a Shelf and select Add Bin from the context menu.
DELETE: Right-click on any location entry and select Delete from the context menu.
Pallet Status Filters
Active Pallets: Only pallets with an Active or In Transition status are listed under this tab.
Inbound Pallets: Only pallets with an Inbound status are listed under this tab.
Pallets To Withdraw: Only pallets with an Outbound status are listed under this tab.
Pallet Withdrawals are administered in the Manage Withdrawals form.
Removed Pallets: Only pallets with a Removed status are listed under this tab.
Pallet Statuses are administered in the Pallet Statuses form.
Statuses are assigned to each Pallet in the Pallets form.
New Arrival
Click this button to open the Arrival Details form.
New Withdrawal
Click this button to open the Pallet Withdrawal Details form.
Image
Displays a thumbnail image of the Customer's logo.
Customers are administered in the Manage Customers form.
Customer
Displays the name of the Customer.
Customers are administered in the Manage Customers form.
Product
Displays a description of the Product on the Pallet.
Products are administered in the Manage Product Catalog form.
Production Date
The date and time at which the pallet was produced.
This information is defined in the Pallets form.
Barcode
Displays the barcode number of the pallet.
Numbers are assigned to each Pallet in the Pallets form.
Model
The Model Name associated with the Products on the Pallet.
Products are admininstered in the Manage Product Catalog form.
Model Names are defined in the Product Details form.
Pallet Code
The barcode placed on the pallet.
This detail is entered in the Pallets form.
Quantity
The amount of units found on the pallet.
This number is entered when creating a New Pallet.
Lot
Displays the lot number of the products on the pallet.
Lot Numbers are assigned by VimBiz when a New Lot is created.
Arrival #
Arrival Number, automatically assigned by VimBiz when the Arrival is created.
Arrivals are admininstered in the Manage Arrivals form.
Information related to each Arrival is entered in the Arrival Details form.
Location
Displays the area where the pallet is located (room \ rack \ shelf \ bin).
Locations are administered in the Manage Warehouse form.
Driver
Displays a drop down list of Employees that can be selected as a driver.
Employees are administered in the Manage Employees form.
Status
Shows the icon related to the Pallet Status.
Pallet Statuses are administered in the Pallet Statuses form.
Statuses are assigned to each Pallet in the Pallets form.
Current Quantity
The amount of units currently found in the pallet.
Original Quantity
The amount of units originally placed in the pallet.
Product
Displays the Product Name of the product associated with the pallet.
Products are administered in the Manage Product Catalog form.
Model Name
The name associated with the Product.
Products are administered in the Manage Product Catalog form.
Barcode
Allows the User to enter any additional details or information about the pallets.
Pallet Code
This field allows the User to specify a pallet code which will be shared by all of the created pallets.
Weight
Displays the weight of all the units.
Production Date
Displays the date in which the pallet goes into Production.
Notes
Allows the User to enter any additional details or information about the pallets.
Do Not Charge
Allows the User to toggle the billing status of the pallet.
Hold
Allows the User to toggle the holding status of the pallet.
Hold Reason
Allows the User to specify a reason for the holding status of a pallet.
Expiry Date
Displays the date in which the products on the pallets are due to Expire.
Status
Displays the current status of the pallet.
Statuses are administered in the Lot Statuses form.
Lot Number
Displays the Number of the Lot that the pallet is associated with.
Click the button to view the Lot Details form.
Driver

Pallet Adjustments
Users can adjust the amount of units per pallet.
ADD: Click the New Adjustment button to open the Add Pallet Adjustment form.
Add New Pallet Adjustment
Adjustment Type: Type an adjustment name, or click on the arrow to select from a list.
Adjustment Types are administered in the Manage Pallet Adjustment Types form.
Amount: Enter the number of units that are involved in the adjustment.
Adjustment Date: Enter the date and time when the adjustment will be effective.
Notes: Area to enter additional details on the adjustment.
Withdrawals
Pallet Withdrawals are administered in the Manage Withdrawals form.
Withdraws
Logo: The icon represents pallets throughout VimBiz.
Customer: The customer requesting the withdrawal.
Customers are administered in the Manage Customers form.
Location: Area where the pallet is currently located (room \ rack \ shelf \ bin).
Units: The number of units found on the pallet.
Date: The date and time at which the withdrawal is scheduled.
Complete: If this box is checked, the withdrawal has been completed; an unchecked box flags that the withdrawal is pending.
Pallet History
Pallet History
Type: Displays the transaction type of the pallet transaction.
Barcode: Displays the barcode of the pallet.
Quantity: Displays the amount of units that the pallet held during the time of the transaction.
Status: Displays the status that the pallet held during the time of the transaction.
Pallet Code: Displays the pallet code of the pallet.
Expiry Date: Displays the date in which the products on the pallets are due to Expire.
Bin ID: The name of the Bin where the pallet is located.
Location: Area where the pallet is currently located (room \ rack \ shelf \ bin).
Lot ID: Displays the Number of the Lot that the pallet is associated with.
Modified By: Displays the name of the User that completed the pallet transaction.
Modified Date: Displays the date in which the pallet transaction was created.
E-Documents
E-Documents are administered in the E-Tree form.
ADD: Click on the Insert New File button, or right-click and select Insert File from the context menu.
DELETE: Right-click on an entry and select Delete from the context menu.
View Pallet History
Click the View Pallet History button to open the Pallet History Report.
This is found only at the bottom of the Pallet History Tab.
View Pallet Activities
Click the View Pallet Activities button to open the Pallet Activities Report.
Scan Pallet
To relocate a pallet, enter the pallet barcode in this box.
This will open the Pallets form.
NOTE: Double-clicking on an entry will also open this same subform.
Pallet Status Filters
Active Pallets: Only pallets with an Active status are listed under this tab.
Pallets In Transition: Only pallets with an In Transition status are listed under this tab.
Pallet Statuses are administered in the Pallet Statuses form.

Image
Displays a thumbnail image of the Product on the Pallet.
Products are administered in the Manage Product Catalog form.

Displays the barcode number of the pallet.

Displays the lot number of the products on the pallet.
Lot Numbers are assigned by VimBiz when a New Lot is created.

* Under the Pallets In Transition tab, this column is labelled Delivery Door, and displays the Door Name where the Pallet is located.

Status
Shows the icon related to the Active or In Transition statuses.

New Location
Define the location where the pallet will be moved.
Scan the barcode of the new location, or type the location information and click Enter.
Current Location
Where the pallet is currently located, by Room \ Rack \ Shelf \ Bin

Barcode
Displays the barcode number of the pallet.

Product
Displays a description of the Product on the Pallet.

Product Code
Displays the UPC Code of the Product on the Pallet.
Products are administered in the Manage Product Catalog form.

Lot Number
Displays the lot number of the products on the pallet.
Lot Numbers are assigned by VimBiz when a New Lot is created.
Units
The number of pieces on the pallet to be relocated.
Pallet Status
Pallet Statuses are administered in the Pallet Statuses form.
Statuses are assigned to each Pallet in the Pallet Details form.
Place in Temporary Location
Click this button to remove the pallet from its current location and place it in a temporary spot, like a floor space or a closet.
Scan Pallet
To relocate a pallet, enter or scan the pallet barcode.
The Relocate Pallet form will appear.
Image
Displays a thumbnail image of the Product on the Pallet.
Products are administered in the Manage Product Catalog form.
Door
The door that the pallet is to enter from.
Doors are administered in the Delivery Doors form.
Customer
The name of the customer associated with the pallet.
Customers are administered in the Manage Customers form.
Pallet Barcode
Displays the barcode number of the pallet.

Lot Number
Displays the lot number of the products on the pallet.

Units
The number of units on the pallet.
Status
Shows the icon related to the status.

OVERVIEW: This section guides the User on how to use the Outbound Pallets Form.
Outbound Pallets Panel
This form gives the User an overview of all the Outbound Pallets of the warehousing system.
- Logo: Displays a thumbnail image of the product.
- Customer: Displays the customer name associated with the pallet.
- Product: Displays the name/description of the product on the pallet.
- Lot: Displays the Lot Number of the products on the pallet.
- Location: Displays the current location of the pallet.
- Barcode: Displays the barcode number of the pallet.
- Door: Displays the door that the pallet is to be removed from.
- Units to Remove: Displays the number of units to remove.
NOTE: To relocate a pallet, enter the pallet barcode in the Scan Pallet Panel and wait for the Relocate Pallet form to appear. Scanning the barcode of the new location in the New Location field will change the location of the pallet. For more information on pallet status views, see Inbound Pallets.

BOL
The Bill Of Lading (BOL) number.
Order Number
Specify an order number for the invoice.
Customer
The name of the Customer.
Withdrawal Date
The date and time that the pallet was withdrawn.
Transporter
The name of the selected transporter.
Seal #
The number on the seal on the delivery.
Delivered To
The name of the customer to whom the withdrawal is delivered.
Description
A description of the products to be delivered.
Sent
A checked box indicates that the withdrawn pallet has been sent.
An unchecked box flags that the pallet has yet to be sent out.
New Withdrawal
Click this button to create a Withdrawal.
Details of this subform are included in the Pallets form.
Transporter
The company who will be transporting the pallet from the warehouse.
Type the Transporter Name in the box, or click on the arrow to view the list.
Transporters are administered in the Shipping Transporters form.
Click on the button to view the Transporter Details form.
Click on the button to find another Transporter.
Withdrawal Date
Select a date and time for the withdrawal.
Type a date in the box, or click on the arrow to view the calendar. The enter a time.
Vehicle #
Specify a vehicle number for the delivery vehicle.
Order #
Specify an order number to associate with the invoice.
Requested Qty
Specify an amount of requested pallets.
Order Date
Select a date and time for the order.
Type a date in the box, or click on the arrow to view the calendar. The enter a time.
Terms
Specify terms of the withdrawal.
PO #
The number associated with the Purchase Order (PO).
Notes
Enter additional details or notes regarding the withdrawal.
Description
Specify a description of the withdrawn products.
Delivery Door
Specify from which door the withdrawn products will be picked up.
Type the Door Name in the box, or click the arrow to view a list.

Container
Enter specific container information.
Delivery Address
Define the address where the withdrawn pallet will be delivered.
Enter the Address Name in the box, or click on the arrow to view a list.
Addresses are administered in the Manage Addresses form.

Booking #
Enter a secondary reference number for the booking of the withdrawal.
Arrival Date
Select a date and time when the withdrawn pallet will arrive at its destination.
Type a date in the box, or click on the arrow to view the calendar. The enter a time.
Seal #
Specify a seal number of the seal on the delivery.
Withdrawal
The related withdrawal number, as assigned by VimBiz.
Overwriting BOL Summary
BOL Pallet Label: Type the Pallet Label Name, or click on the arrow to view a list.
Click the button to open the BOL Pallet Label Details form.
BOL Pallet Qty: Type the number of units.

Total Damaged
Indicate the number of damaged units within the lot.
Total Quantity
Specify the total number of units in the lot.
This is calculated by multiplying the number of units per pallet by the number of pallets.
Total Pallets
Specify the total number of pallets in the arrival.
Total Weight
Specify the total weight of the arrival.
Arrival #
Arrival Number, automatically assigned by VimBiz when the Arrival is created.
P.O. #
The number found on the Purchase Order (P.O.)
Temperatures
Users can specify temperatures, in Farenheit, for different locations of a carrier container.
The temperatures can be defined for the Front, Middle, and Back areas.
Lots
ADD: Click on the Add Lot button, or right-click and select New Lot.
See the Pallets for details on this subform.
Lots are administered in the Manage Lots form.

DELETE: Right-click and select Delete form the context menu.

Type a date in the box, or click the arrow to view a calendar. The enter a time value.

Additional details on the lot can be entered in this area.
Customer
The Customer providing the lot.
Type the Customer Name in the box, or click on the arrow to view a list.
Customers are administered in the Manage Customers form.
Click on the button to view the Customer Details.
Click on the button to find another Customer.
Products
The Product that makes up the pallets in the Lot.
Type the Product Name in the box, or click on the arrow to view a list.
Products are administered in the Manage Product Catalog form.
Click on the button to open the Product Details form.

Pallets
Pallets are administered in the Manage Pallets form.

Quantity Per Pallet
The number of units included in each pallet.
# of Pallets
The amount of pallets included in the lot.
Pallet Code

The total weight of all pallets.
Production Date
The date on which the pallet was produced.
Expiry Date
The date on which the products will expire.
Driver
The name of the delivery truck driver.
Enter the employee's name in the box, or click on the arrow to view a list.

Hold
Check this box to set the Pallet Status to Holding.
Hold Reason
When the Hold flag is active, optionally enter an explanation in this cell.
